Colorado Elevation FC and its coaches are committed to your players safety both on and off the field. Concussions in youth sports is serious business. Therefore, CO Elevation strongly requires all coaches and parents to educate themselves on the signs and symptoms of concussion. Parents play a significant role in the timely identification of a concussion and often times symptoms do not show up on the field. Below are some fact sheets that we encourage all parents to read and familiarize themselves with.
Our concussion protocol is strict. If there is a suspected concussion that is NOT AN EMERGENCY please contact Eric Krell at his clinic in Lone Tree (303) 792-7377 or on his cell phone at (303) 358-6175 for evaluation and/or a referral. Eric has his Doctorate in Physical Therapy and has over 22 years of orthopedic rehabilitation experience and works closely in the identification and treatment of post-concussive syndrome. He also has connections with the Center for Concussion through the Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children. Their new location is at Sky Ridge Hospital in Lone Tree.
